    Looking to optimize my mouse settings..for accuracy

    Anyone know how to change polling rate? I'm looking to get better at aiming for head shots, I have the steel series sensei, it has a button that switches it between 2 DPI's none that I know of . And I use windows zp, so is there any options I can change that will help my situation?

    Never had a Steel Series, but disable mouse acceleration and keep your DPI around 1000. Anything higher is somewhat unnecessary imo.

    Have you installed the Steelseries Engine?
    If not, got to this link SteelSeries Support - Downloads, click on your mouse and download & install it, maybe you can change it with this software.

    Yes I did uninstall and I can finally see my dpi and stuff... @Cataclypse 1000DPI=1000CPI right..? Also how do I turn acceleration off, my steelseries engine won't let me do that

    Yes CPI = DPI.
    You can do it under your mouse settings in Windows 7.
    Just go to mouse options then to pointer options (not sure if named like this in english) and then disable the part I've marked yellow:
