making hacks work without dc with old engine.exe

im posting this cause it might take me a while to get this done
(need to work on my gf's car first)
so heres what u need to do

ok first thing to do is download the engine.exe form this thread
ok link didnt work so heres the download form the other thread

then

#1 get a hex editor


#2 open up the old engine.exe and change the version number to match the new engine.exe that came out after the patch

#3 get peid and crc check or any other crc changing program

#4 run a crc check on the new engine.exe and write down or copy the crc

#5 open up peid and the old engine.exe and change the crc of the old engine.exe to the new engine.exe then save


#6 put the modified engine into ur ca folder and enjoy the hacks again with no dc

i got thanks for putting it up on MPGH, if i hadn't it wouldn't have been found for a hell of a long time.

i renamed the speed hack dll so people would know they got it from my thread.

and btw, bypasss.dll is a renamed NBProductions -.-'

either way, i still put up both of them.

no it doesnt for me, i sorta edited mine in a different way and it works for like, eva, its fun to use my old vips i made before the patch, im like the only one opking rofl

would u mind to release it?

and, why dont sum1 either release the moded old engine or teach us exactly how to change the values ?

One question, Ill thank if anyone helps me btw so please do ;D, Ok i have my hex editor, and I have both Engine.exe's tabbed so I can so both codes or w/e, now where do I change the version number, and where is the version number located on the new one so I can add it to the old one. Thanks XD

u know u only need the server codes to be updated in the old engine.exe....if u havent fiqured that out yet then ur all hopless lol (good luck finding them though lol)
