making hacks work without dc with old engine.exe

im posting this cause it might take me a while to get this done
(need to work on my gf's car first)
so heres what u need to do

ok first thing to do is download the engine.exe form this thread
ok link didnt work so heres the download form the other thread

then

#1 get a hex editor


#2 open up the old engine.exe and change the version number to match the new engine.exe that came out after the patch

#3 get peid and crc check or any other crc changing program

#4 run a crc check on the new engine.exe and write down or copy the crc

#5 open up peid and the old engine.exe and change the crc of the old engine.exe to the new engine.exe then save


#6 put the modified engine into ur ca folder and enjoy the hacks again with no dc

but i cant find any patched hacks, and i dont know how old this engine.exe is

Its the 1 before it was patched, go to that site and get that hack, as shown in that video of moggy.

Srry for being a total noob, i simply have never messed with hex editor and lolz2much is busy, so thanks again ^^.

I can't find anything about Crc check exept cunfusin talking things and pied checks the file for things but i dont know wich one is the crc

Ah that would be easier, uploading a copy of the modified version, can any1 do it if not then may as well just explain, even though, it would be, really really really really really really really really lol i could go on, really, nice if you just uploaded it in another thread, and added instructions later for those who wanted!
