It seems like your problem is being dealt with, but I'll give you a bit of input. Files aren't allowed to connect to the internet generally, and if they do they require a special approval process from the higher ups; this is done to protect the users. Also you might want to keep the flaming down, disputes with flame tend to not be taken seriously.

Assuming this is the same code that was inside the executable (cannot confirm as I don't have the attachment), it's completely safe. If you look at the code, the user is responsible for entering their own URL. All this does is save the HTML source from multiple pages into a text file. AutoHotKey imports wsock32.dll by default, same with AutoIt too.

I had that problem before and my friend had it before too. Liz allowed it since we were using Autoit as it uses some shit to add internet connectivity. Dunno about his problem..

After reading @master131 comment I understood that he is using AutoHotKey which is the same as Autoit.. I guess its safe to allow it now.

We have approved hacks/tools that connect to the internet before. They go through a special approval process though, it's been a while since last time I recall doing one but if the source code is verified to compile into the executable and checked for anything malicious, it's considering safe for approval w/ a message saying that it connects to the internet.

^ That. I asked @master131 to verify it's authenticity, if he gives it a green light, which is more than likely the case, the attachment should be approved. If it was deleted, then repost if you wish, and mention me for approval @Ex0rPl4net . @Mayion still did a great job in making sure member safety was paramount, and I am sure he will learn from this. In the future this can be avoided if there's better communication between the content releaser and the responding staff member, rather than assumptions of malice from either party.

You can always run the program in a VM with Wireshark or any other network sniffer of your choice enabled to see if it does actually connect to the internet. But as mentioned before, these script compilers include a bunch of funcs in the program that aren't actually used.
