For reconnect on clients why can you not reconnect to the dungeon after a certain amount of time? I have a slight idea why but i would like to know that reason if possible. :3

Servers Memory/CPU performance.

Each time a portal is dropped its associated to a dungeon created on the fly by the server.
Imagine how many dungeons are opened at once.
Dungeons exists as long as there is someone inside. Therefore when you nexus, the dungeon become useless and its removed from the server memory (because the server memory is huge but limited )

This is why objects like bags have an expiration time.

well that is not it because i play with a friend and there is always a person in the dungeon, we just can reconnect back for around 5 minutes and once that 5 minutes is up we cant reconnect back. thanks for that info though :3

May I correct you: dungeon portals are the cause. The "key" to enter that dungeon is forgotten by the server after a while after the portal disappears.

Simple, portal key expire after a certain amount of time, each dungeon are longer than each other and some are shorter
