Got myself a job
Today was a good day. My Uncle is an electrician and he invited me out to a job at a local pub pretty close to where I live, nothing special, just to wire up some sockets and run cables and stuff for a concert the pub was hosting. Everything was pretty basic and due to the fact that I take Engineering Science as one of my school subjects I knew how everything had to be wired up. It took us near enough 3 hours to hook everything up and to test that everything was safe. After my Uncle collected his payment from the owner of the bar we headed out and he brought up how he'd like me to come out on any job that he gets and give him a helping hand. Things progressed and he said that he'd pay me £10/h (around $16.70/h) which put a pretty large smile on my face. As a 15 year old earning near enough double the minimum wage then I'd say I'm in a pretty good spot right now.
