    3D Modeling/Rendering Machine w/ gaming capabilites

Hey everyone, I just wanted your opinion on this build. My budget is $2600 usd which buying solely on Newegg is a little over that with taxes included. I will primarily be using this to do 3D rendering and animation with programs such as, 3ds max, Maya, Softimage, Zbrush, etc and will do slight gaming as well.

Let me know what you think

i have nothing bad to say about this,if you need the ram (which you probably need) this is unbeatable
the best build you can make, unless you can sqeeze in a 780ti i guess

Hi you stated that you are looking towards a gaming and 3D rendering machine and with a budget like that I think you should go for 780Ti and maybe cut some cost within the RAM (which you can probably add more later). I'm sure the 70TI would prove more beneficial in the long run.

Thank you guys for responding. I was considering the 780Ti but found the 780 6gb appealing because of that 6gb of VRAM which would definitely come in handy in regards to live preview rendering using Vray RT or Furryball (renderers). I know the 780 ti outperforms at its default configuration but I've researched several benchmarks that showed the gtx 780 6gb outperforming the 780ti once you overclock it. If I'm mistaken, please do correct me.

This is a really good PC. I personally have a computer that is not as good as this build and I get fine FPS while gaming/rendering and modeling

This is an amazing build, I can't find ram in it. You will need RAM in order to render things (Obviously). I assume you have already purchased some RAM and that is why you don't need it, correct? However, if you can wait 2015 isn't that far away. When that comes around you could get newer GPU's with better processing power.
