Well most Maplestory hacks are VIP, and the leading Public hack, Angel Processor's creator is dead so there's been releases of trainers and packet stuff.

I wouldn't say it's dead. I think there's still many people that play. Just the hack developers quit so the section seems dead.

MapleRoyals is hard to hack on. Their anti-cheat system is pretty decent.

Hackshield bypasses are everywhere on a forum thats rival to this so i cant speak of it, its really simple actually.

MapleStory became not only too pay2win, Nexon has been messing around by banning legits instead of hackers/boters, also it came too repetitive with same quests and events over and over again

the entire game is repetetive.

but there is not chalange..nexon is trying to hard to get their players back even tho they have already lost em.

the ONLY thing reviving maplestory will be a PRE-BB official server which only gets events. NO CONTENT
that will revive maple really quickly.
im not the only one that doesnt care about the game anymore and tries to get better equip instead of exploring and stuff...the game feels exploited and the mystery is...gone.
