    No power to USB

TEMPS ARE FINE, DON'T GO ABOVE 50C.

My old comp, which my wife uses, I believe the PSU is going out, but I dunno. I don't have a spare PSU atm to even check, but what it has been doing is it will randomly turn off, then not turn on.

The indicator lights which are green, and yellow are what imply it is ready to be turned on, but without that yellow light on it will not it is the standby indicator. Basically it will shut off, and yellow light will go off. So, I tried clearing CMOS, and unplugging/waiting for power to rid it self from the system(The green LED will go out once there is no longer any power).

Once I turn on the PSU, the green light will come on, which I can push to power it on, and the yellow will come on or not. If it DOES, I can start it, and it will boot for a short while, then eventually just turn off again a few seconds later.

Well.... Now, it is finally staying on. HOWEVER, there is no power to mouse, keyboard, or anything really. My GPU is ON, but I get no signal(The fan on it is spinning, so I assume it's on?), so idk wtf the problem is now. I reseated the RAM, reseated the GPU, unplugged the CD drive, still nothing. Idk wtf the problem is, suggestions?

Going to assume it is the PSU, but it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

As in... Do I have one plugged in? Yes. I tried it with and without it plugged in. I tried with everything unplugged apart from monitor, and nothing seems to fix it, till I get a spare PSU I can only assume it's the PSU.

If you have a working speaker connected then it will always beep during a successful POST.

I've never once had a single beep, and I've had various sets connected throughout the years. In the entire 2 years that I've owned this, not a single time has it beeped.

That's strange considering all motherboards with an AMI based BIOS will beep during post.

I believe so...? Look at my thread here https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=850966 to see cables, should you need better pictures/closer I can do that.

That is what a speaker looks like. It slides onto the four pins above your power and reset sw cable on the bottom right of your motherboard. It will beep during post if successful and if it continuously restarts then it's most likely PSU. If it does not beep then remove you ram. If it does not beet multiple times then I'd say get into contact with Asus.

Mobo speakers are good at giving a general diagnosis.
