Should Weed Be Legalized In the United States

As the title says, Should weed be legalized In the US?? I'm curious to the MPGH Community's thoughts. I'm sure there has been a thread on this, but I haven't seen it and I'm curious! I personally think yes. Please post a reply and why!

If you smoke an average amount, you don't even have to be a stoner, you will realized that there aren't really any physical reasons to not legalize it

But the system is fucked, because if they legalize it, so much crime money is stopped and therefore less jobs, less police needed, it would just throw everything off and they aren't ready for that everywhere.

As others have said, weed is better than cigs, and has many medical purposes. I've been smoking weed for around half a year now on almost a daily basis. The only "De-Fect" you get from weed, is short term memory loss, which has been proven to come back if you stop smoking for roughly a month.

ps. Im in canada (A giant chunk of the city I live in smokes weed, my buddie actually had a security guard tell him he smokes weed too, but he needs to go elsewhere to smoke on his break ).
