but here are some old and new designs that i don't know if ive posted here or not but rip them apart.

I am doing Game Art and Animation courses. You gave me the idea of sharing my college art on here, good idea.

They all look alright.
But I'll just have to say that they start to fall flat after a while, they all look sort of the same.
Be that as it may, it could be your style in general.
The problem here is that everywhere you turn on the internet, you see this-esque art.

It's not for me, but it's not bad.

This is the real difference between making a "sig" and a tag. Sigs are for forums, like you see here.
Game render + effects + text + Topaz. There's not much to it.

I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at.
If you're trying to describe why it looks similar to everything else you can see online then, alright.
But even if this is the norm for the style, there's nothing stopping anyone to go in a different direction and try something new.

This is just me being a cynical asshole.
Nobody could ever teach you something new in a sense.
You have to learn it for yourself.

I would try deviate from a pattern if I could, not saying you should do something insanely different just for the sake of originality.
Just, try new things.

I think that is a solid problem most artists have.. I have had that issue for the longest time. I just started a Game Art and Animation course for college, it's a 2 year course and even though i have attended there for 2 days, I've gotten instant inspiration and motivation! My teacher has some history, so that might be a good reason why I have been lifted back onto my feet.
