Need information on what bans

All i want to know is what bans and what doesnt.

- Using cheat engine to search for addresses in game and putting them into cheat table but NOT MODIFYING VALUES IN ANY WAY.
- Using an external c++ program to readprocessmemory and values from the addresses and display them in console (e.g. player x,y,z co-ordinates)

Both these methods just retrieve information and do not modify existing game data in any way, all i want to know is would these methods get me banned? If both of these would, which of the above would methods would have a lower chance of ban?

modifying values was never detected. modifying the game.exe is detected on most anticheats

Soo what do you mean by that?
Does that mean if i hook cheat engine to the ghosts game, i will be banned just for hooking?

For CE is how you serch for value, if you enable debug method you will banned soon, you can tray to run CE on secondary machine but i think will need some change in window setting (like VM mode, dysplaied in "info" tab if your system will suport this), right now vac was changed to detec some of this change in Win, if you disable "Data Execution Prevention aka DEP" you will automatic kicked from vac games and flagged, you can be banned on multiple account without have cheat in your machine (specialy from CS games).

This is bad, i got old but good prog for usb guitar combo with effects (xp/vista) and i can't use anymore on new PC without change this setting to load not signed driver

Thanks for the insight, thats all i wanted to know. This means that you can and probably will get banned for attaching cheat engine to the game right?
By the way what do u mean by running cheat engine on secondary machine?

So there is no way to run cheat engine and play your game at the same time without ban?

If you're not hooking ghosts exe in the runtime with CE then you will not get banned.
Actually you can modify ghosts.exe, but not in the runtime. If you modify .exe before starting it then you will not get banned.

I dont want to modify, i just want to search values aka enemy health and co-ordinates in multiplayer thats all.

Then you might wanna stay away from hacking in the first place.
