No it is not. With the constant moderation over them I'm pretty sure they'll get executed before they can take any serious action.

Mass casualties won't fly until they get to a level that we can all agree is too far.

Previously, like at the time this thread was created they were not a threat to the Western world. As of this time it's confirmed North Korea has an ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile, capable of carrying a nuclear warhead) so now they are a threat. Fuck enlisting, rob a bank and use the money to make a bunker.

No one takes them seriously but in the future they may actually become a serious threat.

By now they risk killing millions and so long as they can still develop their range and power of nukes they risk more and more lives which they can use as leverage.

The only way I can see someone legit destroying that dictatorship is only if they are able to somehow target and destroy EVERY nuclear missile the koreans have which would require a ton of intelligence and perfect execution, somehow stage a coup to make the whole country politically unstable (but we all know how American coup's go *cough* *cough* Bay of Pigs), use some super-weapon that can takeover the country or destroy the missiles (idk some nanotechnology), or some extremely weird and unique idea that nobody would expect.

North Korea flaunting their military might is dangerous. They are in control of deadly warheads that could take thousands of lives, especially if pointed towards major cities in South Korea, such as Seoul. Once an attack is executed by NK, it will more likely than not result in some foreign intervening that causes political turmoil. For example, if the U.S. responds to North Korean attacks by entering the mainland and attempting to rebuild the nation, China would more likely than not be at least somewhat upset about losing a major source of trade.

I doubt they will do it, there is too many consequences if they nuke America, their country would die almost instantly.

You have to remember, China has already stated that if NK goes aggressive towards any country, they will not back them. It's only if any outside country strikes first.

Any country with nuclear warheads are both a danger to themselves and others. Doesn't mean that they will necessarily do anything or act in a way which will endanger us all. The current situation might seem hot, but in reality, I believe it's just a massive dick measuring contest. In the event of a potential war, NK would need the US to attack first, without that the Chinese wouldn't help them.
