Mechanical Pencil vs Wood Pencil?
For me Its Wood pencil can't leave my favorite Staedtler norica hb 2 pencil writes like a charm and no need to use annoying led just sharpen.

Mechanical pencil for writing, regular pencil for drawing/light shading.

I guess mechanical pencil i guess.

Except for the fact that more than a small amount of force and you waste most of the damn led.

And its a lot easier to shade in on a test with a Wooden #2 pencil.

Wood pencil for drawing and shading for school and stuff, mechanical for drawing on my copies or drawing random crap in general.

I used to use wood pencil exclusively, liked the disposable aspect of it. Then I started having to sharpen every 20-30 minutes or write in large, became a problem with subscripts because of all the engineering formulas I worked with, switched to engineering mechanical pencil, nao its my baby.

I have no problem with wood unless the text needs to be written small.
