I got around installing A.V.A last night.

Here are a few screenshots comparing the Lowest settings vs Highest settings.
First of all, my specs:

• 3GB RAM
• NVIDIA 7600GS 512MB
• Intel Pentium D 4.0 (over-clock from 3.6)
• HP w2007v 19" HD monitor
• 150MB Fibrewire internet (no lag for me

EndRiT's verdict:

It's a very nice looking game but the game-play is far from perfect.
The difference between highest and lowest doesn't seem to significant, and it doesn't look that bad on lowest settings. Overall, this is a good game, give it a go. Buy VIP when it comes out.

This took me like 10/15 minutes to upload, they are 8MB files each.

no with low detail there is pretty much no lag at all and i looks like combat arms if u put it to medium so its not bad at all

I don't think the recoils is so bad, just burst 2-3 bullets, or if you have macros on mouse set 1 button to click-click (0.20"-0.20") and you wil shoot-shoot shoot with allmost no recoil, 0.20" being the pause betwin clicks , i did this macro on my genius ergo 555 and its great. maybe the ak would need bigger intervals tho'
Besides that the graphics are nice, untill now... we don't have other free fps games with those graphics (meaning shader3)

I see somme acuse the graphics for lags... hm... don't mistake on this, hardware lags and network lags are two diffrent things.

I tested on 3 graphic cards (1680-1050 all maxed out and 8xMSAA) the only 2 things i didn't used was the fog and bloom. BTW bloom is decreasing the fps around 40 in this game and brings no improvement.

On XFX 9800gtx black i had an average overall fps of 72 and on xfx 295gtx never got under 140 (you can remove the fps caps from settings.ini by setting 0 in there). So it's not the HW making lags, it's the bandwidth and poketloss.
Don't espect the under 8800gts 640(average overall fps 50, at same settings) cards to perform well at high settings, it wont.
At hi res you don't need AA at all, game is nice without it too.

The rest of the specs ware : C2D™ e6600 @3600, xfx nForce® 780i SLI,4GB DDR2 800,win7 x64,10MB fiberoptic network, i only switched the graphic card with two of my older cards to compare.

"Smooth framerate" helps
"frame stabilize" helps if your CPU can handle it, but if it can't it will do more damage than helping, don't use it under 3GHZ C2D CPUs.

LE: I love that : options/gameplay/use alternative camera when giving a HS or fraging sommeone, it's sommething new, never saw it in another game.
