TO THE NOOBS WHO CANNOT GET THE PUB HACKS TO WORK

Okay, I decided to make this thread in order to help the noobs get the hacks working.

First off, I'd like to thank Corndog and Zakurna as they helped me in getting mine to work.

Okay, let's begin. First, make sure you have all the requirements listed on Zakurna's thread.

Now, make sure you actually have DirectX10 (it's actually DirectX 9.27, but on the instructions thread, Zakurna labeled it version 10) and NET Framework. If you download NET Framework and get an error, that means you probably already have it downloaded. To check this, go to my computer and type this into the address bar: %systemroot%\Microsoft.NET\Framework
if you have a folder labeled "3.5" there, it is already installed.

Congratulations you're almost done.

Now, make sure PerX, PerX settings file, AVAPUB.dll, AVAPUB.exe, and the settings.ini file for AVAPUB are all in the same folder.

Now, run PerX (if you have Vista/Windows7, run as Administrator). Put the AVAPUB.dll into the injector via the browse option. Inject into AVA.exe

Next we will manually change the settings for the hack:
open the settings.ini file for AVAPUB in Notepad.
change it to this:

//FRONT TEXTURE COLOR IN RGB

fg=0
fb=0

//BACK TEXTURE COLOR IN RGB

Open up AVA (run as admin if on Vista/W7).

You should notice the white MPGH writing in the top left.

Congratulations, your hacks are working and you're ready to own!

Not flaming anyone. I am a noob at this too, but thanks to the two I mentioned I got mine to work and would like to share my knowledge with the others who didn't fully understand the "official" tutorial.

And by the way, if you're saying it doesn't work, then you're one of these "noobs" I mentioned, because it DOES work.

I'm running Vista Home Premium 32 bit. Although, I do not understand your question fully.

What operating system?
Any errors?
Are you 100% positive all 5 files are in the same folder?
If running Vista/Windows 7, are you running as administrator?

Okay yea srry it didn't wound right the second time reading it...I was asking if u had windows xp because all the other people that couldn't get the hack to work were using xp...I have a vista 32bit and it works fine for me

Download DirectX 9.27 (here.
Run as administrator if you are on Windows7/Vista.
Make sure ALL 5 files are in the same folder!

It should work then. If not, reboot, try again.
