    my homie

    my homie got shot last night
    i was there near him
    it started with a fight
    then it all turned blight

    my homie got stabbed one day
    from some guy who was gay
    all my homie said was hey
    and then he killed him

    my homie got beaten the other night
    and it was quiet a sight
    i stood by him i cried
    "why, oh why"

    My homie was my friend, my brother, my everything
    i was not gay to him but
    he made everything better for me
    he stood up for me when times were tough
    and had my back when a fight was coming along

    he watched over me when i had nowhere to go
    and got me my date which turned to love
    he was my everything through and through

    my homie was the best of friends
    my homie...is now dead.
