It is most likely a GPU, a power cord, PSU or cooler problem. It can be also because it is dusty inside your PC and it may possible cause overheat. There are softwares that you can check like UBCD to diagnose or troubleshoot it.
I've got a problem with this rig:
cooler master K-380 Advanced 3.0 Red
600 Watt Cooler Master
AMD Vishera FX-8320
Standard cooling
ASUS M5A7-M/USB3
7.1 Soundcard
Crucial Ballistix Sport 12GB DDR3-1600
1000GB Sata III HHD
DVD burner
AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB
1GBit nerworkcard
When I play games and other stuff that requires the rig to actually do something, it shuts down, giving a blue screen, right before automaticly rebooting.
Any chance the parts are interfering with eachother?
Pls halp

BSOD error would be helpful.
BRING BACK BT, BRING BACK SAGA, BRING BACK VF, BRING BACK MPGHCRAFT, BRING BACK HABAMON
Run Virus Scans, use CCleaner, fix the registry issues, update drivers/BIOS, reset all overclocks and finally check to see if you have a faulty components, don't know how you'd go about that last point.
also, how are the 12 gigs composed? 4+8? maybe your mobo has compatibillity issues?
2 things.
1. is this a new rig ex did it ever work properly without bsods?
2. please show us the bsod and run memtest for a while to see where the problem could be at,a virus scan couldnt hurt aswell
600 ?
Riiiiiight
There is a possibility that it is a Virus, but try running a scan first. If it is all clean, then go for MemTest86+. If it doesnt show any errors then download Driver Verifier. It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

This used to happen to me all the time. Had to update my BIOS for it stop. Passed all stress tests but would BSOD whilst playing games.

My computer has been having similar problems to OP when I moved to a new SSD. Happens generally when I'm playing games w/ my case closed, I BSOD, and restart and get a BIOS error saying my CPU is overheated. While I agree that BSOD isn't caused directly by overheating, but it's probably correlated when the CPU shuts down certain parts to try to cool down.

Either GPU driver isn't installed on your PC isn't running its fans correctly. Check your temps using coretemp or get your GPU drivers using the makers(AMD/Nvidia) website.
