As far as I am aware, the game is rather untouchable to hex editors. All information is really server side so you would have to intercept the packets before they get there. Just changing the sell value for an item won't result in more gold because it's a solid value on the server.
If it were SP then you would easily gain 99999 everything.

Wellll not fully untouchable I agree it can't be simply edited with CE but you could use a DLL hack by chance to just changes stats for you so you can run maps and farm gear/gold quite easily if you're aware how to use C++ or whatever which I am not nor will I learn cause I am lazy.
