Triple Monitor Setup & Crossfire help

    Hello,

I need some help about my triple monitor setup. I have two HP S2031 i picked up from goodwill for 40$. I was planning on buying a third to get triple. The problem is the monitors only have VGA and DVI- no HDMI. My graphics card (XFX Radeon R9 280x) only has two DVI and one HDMI. If I get another Radeon R9 280x and choose to crossfire, can I plug in the third monitor to the pther GPU and will it still show a seperate image or will it be a duplicate. Thanks in advance for your help, quite new to the gaming scene and any help is greatly appreciated. My specs are below if you need them.

    CPU: AMD FX-6300
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990 FX R2.0
    GPU: XFX Radeon R9 280X
    PSU: Thermaltake 600W
    Ram: 2x4gb Vengeance

Also do I have enough watts to run it?

When you plug in 2 or more monitors, the image will just expand to all of the monitors. However, you can set it to duplicate images when you go to screen resolution options.

On the other hand, you will not be able to power the 2 cards. With your CPU, and GPUs, you will be putting out about 665~ Watts.

So it's safe to say 700W is good or should I go to 750? Sorry if these questions seem stupid.

750 would be your best bet. If you have the money, 800~ would actually be the safest route.

It would be cheaper for you to just get a HDMI to VGA converter. They work fine in triple monitor setups.
