Yeah scratch that, apparently rumor has it that the studio fucked Isihida over and didn't really let him have a opinion on the ending of the manga so this will be interesting I guess.

Seeing the fights in animation was extremely good, the suits that CCG were in looked balling, saving touka was still in there. Idk I actually like that he took a new path this time in the animation instead because I actually have a reason to watch the season and see how it plays out. Still bummed that he didn't take the original path but w/e. Also LOVE the new ED, the new OP is shite however.


Edit- everyone should be glad of what's happeneing now actually, isihida messed up on the first season by going that far into the story since there wasn't much left to make 12 episodes about the remaining chapters of the manga. By doing this side story it will count as filler since I can see this anime still ending like how the manga did, even if it doesn't though it seems like Isihida grabbed the studio by the balls here and forced them to allow him to script write this second season since they fucked him over in the first season in the manga so I will put my trust in him this time. @Scotia @Empire

Honestly TG has a boring plot. It's so shallow it hurts and i'm all for them mixing up the story.


But lets be honest, all anyone watches TG for is it's edgyness and it's action.


That being said. I don't see why the anime wouldn't follow the original story since white-haired Kaneki is the only good part.....

3 fights in the Manga, but they just took a different route. I can only see one possible path they take, but it could really go anywhere at this point.

Apparently the writer(fuck names) wasn't pleased with Season one, so he's in charge of season two and made the change of routes. I'm a bit excited for that, but maybe a let down. He tweeted all of this.

Manga>Anime in 95% scenarios. The only thing the Anime is meant to do on a 13-episode short is so that they can advertise for there shit Manga to begin with. Sure, the art is neat compared to most, but it's nothing out of the ordinary.

I've never heard of Studio Perriot up to this point, but if TG is along the lines of what they produce, they sound terribad.
