How does the overwatch works?

I want to know a few things, such as; when my reported match will come to overwatch, does it count as a VAC ban, how much people need to report me, and how "legit" should i be?

if enough ppl report u.. it'll be overwatched.. if you look like you are cheating you get the overwatchban which ends up later to vac perm ban

I got OW and banned without cheating. I was smurfing on my silver and got like 50+ kills 3 games in a row...
so yeah if you are a silver and suddenly play good, you'll get reported by those noobs and might get banned, and that's why I hate the OW system it's so broken in many ways

Nah, i have 4 smurfs and in 1 of em i play legit, i'm MG1.
But yeah, OW is so damn broken..

But,yeah.. VAC ban are only for outdated hacks, which seems to be trigger bots lately.
OW is just depending on reports it does not give VAC. VAC will show up as "Untrusted"
