Mac is more stable and optimizied to its hardware and maybe more intuitive to use
and Windows is more customizable,more spread and runs on more devices without problems..

I currently own this Mac Book:



And so far, its everything I expected it to be. In terms with Photoshop, recording, and editing it works like a charm. Although you won't get the raw power of a PC, the Mac Book is a great laptop if you need something on the go.

The rendering time does take a while but considering that this is a laptop and not a PC, its quite bearable.

Overall, I'd say if you want to spend your money on one then go right ahead. You can't go wrong with a Mac Book

Go for a macbook if you don't want to play games , they are perfect for photoshop , video editing etc . You should go for a macbook air if you are not planning to do heavy editing , they are cheaper and more portable for school.
