The processor + RAM is worth the +100$ but any other opinions ?
Heard that Lenovo 1080p TN Panel display is sick.
There is a 4GB GTX860M edition on Y50 but heard that's Kepler and these are Maxwell which has more clock and runs cooler and lower TDP than Kepler.

8 GB of ram is surely enough for a laptop as long as you aren't editing and rendering beefy 1080p videos. The 16 GB of ram seems a bit much, but the quad core is really helpful and will keep your computer up to date with modern tech for a bit.
OT: 2nd one of course. Just watch out for power usage because i7 is less power efficient and is usually a wallhugger from the massive amount of power sucked into it.
