Tokyo Ghoul Root A Episode 3 Discussion

So we get to see some foreshadowing and anime original scenes going on this episode, this time Kaneki breaks out Naki and apparently Ayato doesn't know who the twins are this time. Also can't wait to see where the chin thing goes when it comes to Touka confronting Kaneki and seeing that CCG has learned about Kaneki's identity somewhat is going to lead to another tragedy possibly towards the end of the season. Idk just an opinion I guess but seeing that Mado's daughter is getting a hunch off of Hide's weird interest in ghouls and them getting info faster than in the manga this won't turn out to good..

I liked the pacing of this episode a lot. Definitely a lot of information to take in. Kaneki seems to have lost his identity secret pretty quick, like pointed out. Hide will more than likely be the key plot maker in the next few episodes.

Happy to see that Touka has a little more affection towards Kaneki than what she did in the Manga(It seems?) Oh, and is it just me, or is Naki like Jasons butt-buddy(Jason was actually Gay in the Manga, yes?)


So far I like how they're doing it. A lot of things are different, but he seems to try and keep it the same pace.

Episode was kinda slow, I don't know whether to like that or hate it, I guess if we get a few decent scenes in the next episode I'll be happy.

I will say though, one redeeming quality about this episode was that it made me laugh for a solid 3-4 minutes all because I'm retarded and found this fucking face funny:



That left eye, it fucking gets me, even now I'm laughing.
