How come there is a time period on editing your posts/threads ?

I.e if you were selling a finite amount of stock or offering a service, how come you can't always edit your original post to update your current stock e.t.c ?

To prevent people who try and scam from going back and editing out proof is one thing.

Staff can edit posts indefinitely however, so just PM a staff if you need a thread edited.
