Old mod selector (or might be nillys, dont remember) actually disabled Dr. Terribles green potion throwing line for me, which caused a death.

Vent was from ocean trenches, named VentParticle and/or VentEffect. The method you are using seems good and now I understand why you mentioned realm shaking earlier.
See client-1\_-1-T\VentEffect\VentParticle.class.asasm in the current build, look at the update function. My old mod put a "returnvoid" at the start of the code block.
Was it a line like the wizard's spellbomb line, or a huntress trap throw?
