Just curious as to why I was banned

So I posted a thread of the tool I made which was a trainer for cod4-black ops 1 and I was banned for:

"Posting content with advertisement and subscription promotions."

I seriously have no idea how it was advertising, I was hoping I'd be able to get an answer... It makes 0 sense, what was I advertising for? Steam?

Uh, false actually sorry sir. There is no subscription for more cheats, it clearly said that the tool would get more cheats IF the community responded well before I did anything major with the tool. The advertising to Hack Forums is again, also false. It only said Hack Forums in the CREDTIS section you know for credit. NOWHERE did it say anything else about Hack Forums. I am sorry you feel this way and had to ban me but this ban was for false reasons. Thanks.

If there's HF anywhere in that hack then it should've been deleted, which it was. Whoever banned you I'm going to assume went through the file and found something worth a permanent ban, probably the advertising included inside.

There are two locations for the advertisement, the first one which Normen pointed out, and another in the credits, though it doesn't include the url, just the name. That in itself is warranted the deletion and ban. @Subaru` if you want to you can provide the OP with any SS you might have of the purchase button/link.


However, since it seems as there was no malicious intent, I will remove the ban this one time. If you release anything else with advertisement, or advertise directly again via posts/PMs or VMs, the ban will go back into effect.
