What do you think of this build?

    Code:
    Intel Celeron G1840 Processor - BX80646G1840 $46.28
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 1GB DDR3 $46.88
Gigabyte ATX Socket AM3+ AMD 970 Chipset 2000MHz DDR3 SATA III 6Gbps Ready AMD 9 Series FX Motherboards GA-970A-D3P $84.99
    Lite-On Super AllWrite 24X SATA DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive - Bulk - IHAS124-04 (Black) $19.01
    WD Blue Desktop Hard Drive 1TB, 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/sec $54.99
    Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) $67.99
    EVGA 500W 80PLUS Certified ATX12V/EPS12V Power Supply 100-W1-0500-KR $39.99
    BitFenix Computer Case BFC-COM-100-KKXS1-RP $75.20
They are all amazon prices, I was just killing time trying to build up a low-to-middle-class PC. Now I know the processor might be pretty low, personally I hate celeron but whatever... Final price would be: $435.33 .

Now what if I build this shit up for a friend and add $10 to each item? Also if there's an item that might look too expensive for this kind of class of PC then tell me another one more cheap.

    Absolutely horrible, no offense though.

Instead of a Celeron, use one of the new AMD APUs. Don't use 8GB of RAM either. Use 4GB right now, and save up to buy a dedicated GPU + another stick of 4GB.

For a $500 budget, you sure like to spend 20% of it on a case. Go with a decent $20 case for now. You can always upgrade to something better when you have the money.

Oh and by the way, that motherboard is for AM3+ socket

This build need work.. alot of work.

It kind of feels like your just building a pc to make money and tossing parts into maximize the profit.

This build is trying to give your friend the best bang for his buck(all amazon prices):
    https://pc part picker.com/p/RGjbxr

You could get alot better parts if you weren't locked in only using amazon.

I totally agree, a celeron would be outrageously bad for gaming...

    Processor: 3/10
    Videocard: 4/10
    RAM: 8/10
    Motherboard: 4/10
TBH Horrible... Remember that the weakest part in your PC is going to be the quality of it... You can buy an expensive videocard, but as long as your processor, motherboard, RAM, anything is worse than it, it won't make a big difference...
