This went fairly well. A critique of these events:

Heath should have won first. Not my vote, but he won fairly, and made a great sig.

Energy should not have won second. Sorry, but there were 5 or 6 more worthy candidates imho. I also don't agree much with voting on principle, which is why I believe no GFX members should enter.

and as for trunky: There should be something added to the rules that says "Only a name and possibly subtext should be added" to guard against things that distract from the sig, like a little poem. You got a poem, share it somewhere else. We're voting on graphics. However, if this rule was added, I do not believe he should have been disqualified. Additions to rules help safeguard against further misconduct, and must not affect the contest they were made in. Age-old judiciary principle of "from now on, etc" as a fair reponse to breaking of "should have been there" rules.

Regarding DW3fan: Not very inspiring moderatory conduct. The way moderators act influence the way their successors act, and the GFX team/mods (amirite they're the same?)
have not ever been models of good use of power. Just a thought.
