Use heat like dryer in hair
Do not, I repeat DO NOT PUT THE PHONE IN RICE. It will fuck it up. Put it into an airtight back with those silicone packets you find in shoe boxes.
The No.1 rule when it comes to water damaged phones is that you don't turn it on for at least a week, seriously.
If you leave that shit to dry out for 4-14 days (Preferably a week or so) the it'll make sure that every single last bit of water is dried out and that your phone won't short when you try to switch it on. Rice doesn't really work either, in theory it should but practically speaking, it won't do anything apart from get any water which leaks out of the phone, something which a napkin will do if you just leave the phone to dry.
Leave the phone alone for a week or so on an elevated surface near a ventilated area and don't do anything with it, anything, just leave it to dry itself out.

Thanks guys, I dried it using my vacuum cleaner and my air blower and my hot AC, the touch screen was fucked up but now it's working just fine, the SD card can now be read and everything is working fine.
Remove all water hopefully its not full damaged. Use liquidpel.com next time to make your phone 100% waterproof, I've done it and use it underwater!
Newspaper too in a box with rice, absorb all the water. You'll notice your phone will get hotter than usual. Not sure if the battery will be safe to use though, don't buy fake batteries from ebay\dxextreme. I've done that, ordered like 5 they don't last as long. Good backup batteries, also they get super hot and make the phone moist. Lost my real battery so using the fake ones xD Not worth it doe
Take out the sim card and the battery and put it in rice ;D
Just buy a new damn phone. You can fuck it up even more with the rice, or even that compressed air.. -.-
