2nd Kratos attempt

Had another go with my Kratos render, as it doesn't look much different in a lower quality.
Blurring was a bit off around the sides, and messed up his kilt skirt thing.

I like it but imo the text is a awkward spot. I would just move it somewhere else, kinda takes away from the render. But that's my opinion

It looks like you took brushes did a bunch of random shit.
Added some terrible font and placed a render and tried to blend it...
Nothing looks good here in my opinion.

Yeah, I put it in using the 3x3 grid thing, didn't go too well, as you can see.

Sincerely I feel the sides should get a bit blurry so that the center (where render is) gets popped out.
Also apply a gradient with center white and borders black, blend it using layer properties so that the borders get darkened too (not much, try to balance).
And do something to that text. Change it to a simplier font, and try to put it with one color only, i believe it improves.

I will work on my skills tomorrow too.

I don't like text in any shape or form unless you do something special with it or incorporate it into the piece in some way instead of just slapping it on with a random font with the text tool

As most of the people here already said, it's not really that good.

It has no flow, no depth, it just looks like a render on a grunged up background with text splattered on it.

You should look up tutorials on rule of the thumb, depth,flow, lighting, and render placement. That should get you started. KIU!
