How Come Vac Cant Detect Cheats but 500 Line Anti Cheats Can!?

So i noticed that alot of anti cheats can detect and ban cheaters very effectively now, i mean there is bypassers for certain anti cheats such as qac
but alot of people say you cant get vac banned if your cheats a .lua, well thats a load of bullshit people make anti cheats that can detect almost anything now but garry can't? now i know that vac can only detect bacon bot and sethhack but nothing else, people even say its not on gmod anymore.. bottom line is Garry is a lazy bastard

anticheats on servers are designed to catch lua scripters, vac is designed to catch game modifying cheaters

If you are so concerned, why don't you reverse the VAC-modules yourself and see what they detect? A 3 line anticheat can detect anything.

Lua is intended to be part of the game, servers know what kind of lua programs are meant to be run whereas VAC anticipates servers with mods ( that is kind of the games purpose ) so it does not risk banning the entire community. But basically LUA=Meant for game; VAC- Will not touch lua

The bypasses could lead to a ban in theory but VAC did no updates in gmod since the time of beaconbot
