    No spread for WoT

    Has anyone made a no spread hack for WoT?

    "No spread hacks only work if hit detection is done client side, and WoT doesn't come across as a game where that is the case."
    Any ideas?

    What ideas are you looking for? Your quote explains it pretty clearly. It's impossible.

    The server does all the calculations for the game, which is one of the few smart decisions WG made. IE, unless you manage to hack into WG's servers and modify their scripts, there isn't anything you can do.

    inb4 a desperate 14 year old who thinks they have a grasp of game coding says we shouldn't just give up before trying and checking: Make no mistakes, it is utterly impossible without access to the official servers, which is above and beyond what any mod dev can do

    Other hacks which are impossible:
    - detection of tanks which are otherwise unspotted
    - "auto pen" hacks
    - "auto bounce" hacks
    - shooting shells through obstacles/driving through obstacles/anything involving "no clipping"
    - etc etc etc

    These are all things which WG calculates on the SERVER end. All your client does is get the information from said server, and then render it.

    Which is why you'll notice, ALL the hacks which do exist, ONLY change the way things are rendered, or add rendered objects based on information the server already sends you by default.

    What about packet editing? Basically the same thing you mentioned?

    Packet editing is still a client-sided method. It assumes your client is the side which decides whether or not you pen/aim correctly, and then sends the packets accordingly to make this decision in your favor. Your WoT client does NOT make these decisions. The SERVER decides, and does not depend on your packets for that.

    I will reiterate: The calculations for aim, pen, spotting, and physics are determined entirely on the server, without "help" from your client. There is nothing you can do on your client or your computer to "trick" the server. End of story.

    Like I said, all existing hacks depend purely on information which the WG servers give by default:

    - Sillouette highlights tanks which the server already tells you are there
    - Redball arty mod marks based on shot tracers which the server also gives to you willingly
    - Marking destroyed terrain on map mods check for trees falling/fences breaking/etc (something which the server gives to your client already) and marks it on the minimap
    - Direction Indicator just draws markers on your screen pointing to "legally" spotted tanks
    - Auto aim mods just perform calculations to automatically aim at tanks which are "legally" spotted

    and etc etc etc. Show me any WoT mod, and I will explain to you how it is purely client-sided, and only works off of information which is already sent to Vanilla WoT anyways.
