Has any of you been lagging horrible this past few days? can hacks make u lag?

No. Nexon added something, Like a program that run's constantly, Sending information back and fourth every second, And using up all your cpu usage.. Open task manager and look at your cpu. Mine is bouncing from 0 to 7 o 20 to 50 then back down. Idk y not a virus.. Spybot would have detected it.. If not ccleaner or combofix would have.. Nothing.. Help its only after last patch..


And look into our Hshield folder ounce.. A new folder named like asc.. That is what is making us so laggie.. I am on XP U/? maybe it's just us.. Work's fine on my other comp. OS Vista

hacks will make you lag no matter what(if ur internet is good then nothing will change)

to help deal with the lag just close all processes such as google talk, and msn.

download Gamebooster it will help alot with the lag

I honestly don't know but even on PC's that I don't have any hacks on I'm lagging like crazy. In Theory I think maybe Nexon is running a series of scans once the game is started that is looking for hack files or anything running and with a huge list (I'm sure) of hacks being used something like that would require a good chunk of CPU speed, but that's only my guess cause ALOT of people are lagging and it only seems those who have really high end comps don't experience it at all or at least as often.

I have a ridicousely fast connection and cpu (18 megabytes downstream connection and 8gb of ram with a 16gb readyboost drive) and Combat Arms dosen't lag, unless I am running a Virus Scan or something in the background.
Then it fucks up like crazy, and it didn't used to.

wrong buddy. if anything hacks makes combat arms faster. the reason i said this hacks im using may be causing me to lag is because i think they are a virus.

Hacks that ARE viruses will cause lag if they have a keylogger or anything like that. The main issue WAS CA's servers, it's been fixed now so go play
