Scarecrow SOTW Entry

Sorry for the mishap yesterday, I was in a rush, and for some reason felt the need to quickly make a SOTW entry.
This one I actually spent some time on, and will be my new entry.

Rate and CnC for me.

Not sure if it's the render but the sig is really confusing.

If you're only source of light in this tag is the background, you need to make it brighter. Either brighten the background or add a strong light source to it.

Maybe you could add a border? I see some border-like thing but it's hard to tell.


I like how the colors don't clash to much.

The border is a little hard to see.. :/
I tried to use more fractals and a C4D in this one.
The rest was applying the stroke to a path with the pen tool. More of a filler/blender.
The great thing about this render is that all of the colors are very earthy, all in the same basic scheme. Even the eyes work.

How would you suggest doing a good light source? I would rather not use a filter...

Only did it for SOTW.
It was a play off of an old sig that happened to work for the theme.
