Is this pre-build or custom build? I hope it's custom built because pre-builds are such a waste of money imo. Go with the 2nd build and use your HDD from your current build to go with the new storage since it's relatively short. I'd even recommend 64 gig of SSD instead to run just the OS and a game or two that depends on the SSD speed.

I am also thinking about the second one.

You would be able to get a much better PC with that $600. I didn't know how to build a pc either the first time but I watched a newegg tutorial on it and had it running in under 2 hours. I highly suggest you go with a prebuilt PC since you can probably get a $900 Pre-build system in a $600 build. I can make you a part list as well. What OS are you currently running?

What color is trying to say is that he doesn't want you to get ripped off for 300$ just for some extra work. Building a PC is also very fun.

Yeah I would have to agree with Color, you could get a better pc for $600 by building it yourself and there are heaps of tutorials online on how. There is also mpgh and the majority of users are willing to help you if you can't figure something out. All you have to do is ask. But if you really don't feel comfitable in building it then the second one would be your best choice.

If I would need to decide for one of these two configurations, I would choose the second one just because of the Intel processor.

Either you build your own pc ( i definitely would, and i would help you with that if needed ) or not, it's up to you.
Both builds are pretty decent, but i'd go for the second one.
