The BG is plain..
If you like this style then do like this:

Take out your render>dublicate it like 4 times>smudge the renders from bottom to top with different brushes and sizes>tadaaaa... (it may be simple but the result is way better than your right nao)

0% Blending, looks like you've just slapped a render on with a bg and c4d. Try and work a color going, and look at some tuts.
