Sound problem

Hello
I've a problem with my sound, I can't hear a thing from the moment i open the game and it's really annoying especially in the ghost mode maps and the game is kinda boring without any sound.. this has been like this since i downloaded CrossFire_Setup_v1031

PS:
*I Downloaded the Game from Z8games.com.
* My Sound Driver: Realtek HD audio Manager driver


Could it be my Sound Drive? or the game version? or some missing Files?
I tried searching for the sound folder on the crossfire folder in C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire\rez\Snd2 and i found it and it had 508 files and 24 folders. any help please?

magicer ,u have a faked up OS!
u see ,i had the same problem and lets review it:
1) inlobby u have sound
2)playing music/movies or other shit ,plays well
3) ingame ,u have no sound
4)ingame when u die ,u hear the whining sound that u die(that is the only sound u hear)
5) Once out the game u can hear the music inlobby!

Well ,if that is so ,i've tryed everything possible same as u did!
Reinstalling my sound card ,reinst crossfire ,clean registry ,EVERYTHING i did was in vane!
I resolved it by reinstalling my win xp sp3 ,than it worked!
it work today also but i had like a month or so without sound just like u!

The BGM files might be corrupted - reinstall crossfire
or
maybe the ingame sound volume is muted - go on otions and check
might be your drivers too
check for any updates
