I actually thought he was rubbish.
In the past 10 years, only John Howard was good. The rest are rubbish.
This guy used to be our prime minister and we should of never have got rid of him.
Very interesting speech he gave about possible conflict between the US and Chine

If you don't like Tony mdmAbbot you're a fucking loser.
one good thing about howard was that he was extremely racist and kept all the asylum seekers at bay. and rudds a ****** u guys remember how gave all the kunts like 4k for having kids and all that stupid cash payouts for kids via centerlink. waste of fking money. the biggest problem is the people in the country with the aging population being so easy to brainwash they like sheep, think about it like who the fuck elects and re elects these stupid twats to run the country. both howard and rudd are smart blokes in there own rights, just not the type of smart to run a country u wouldnt allow a plumper to unclog a artery, its not just them all the kunts in labor and liberal are a little bit fcked in there heads. In the end i blame the uneducated plebs in straya that elected them in the first place. in the end we still have 200 years of coal to digg out and fck the earth. if i was to scale in fuckery abbott>gillard>rudd>howard

The media focused on the whole Kevin vs Julia debacle because they needed to scew the public away from the forward thinking practices of the Labor government towards the infighting. Whilst he was in government he was always putting forward measures to improve our economy not just on the trade level but also on the commercial level. Policies put in by the Labor government is the reason why our economy is thriving, why we were barely affected by the GFC, why our AUD remained strong for so long. For you to say that Abbott isn't bad clearly shows you have no vested interest in Australian politics beyond whats on the front page of the Sunday Herald.
The Labor government also spent their money on many things.
Abbott is trying to pay off Australian debts. If we don't, we may end up being under control of another country if they pay our debts off for us so Abbott may have some bad things but overall, his intentions are good.
Gillard introduced that stupid carbon tax which no body liked and she was by far the biggest liar I have ever seen for as long as I've been watching politics in Australia

The reason why he gave out bonuses was like that was to stimulate local business. Rather than injecting money into trade and industry he injected money at thw consumer level at all levels income in order to keep people spending when everyone foolishly thought they needed to save. If it were Howard or any other Liberal in place during the GFC we would 100% be fucked and you would be saying something else entirely if that were the case. It's funny that you accuse other people of not doing their research when youre spewing the same shit our "aging" population is spewing.
I wasn't into politics until 2007 and if I recall, that was when Rudd went into government. I was taught that Howard was crap but over the time, I have been studying law in High School and as a class, we found that Howard wasn't so bad compared to the Labor government. I honestly don't care if Liberal or Labor get into government. Just so long that the Greens don't get in. If they got in, I'm out of here.
Labor is for gay marriage which isn't surprising. They actually might get into government in the next election and win many seats but it was always the Rudd vs Gillard problem that was stopping them. Now that Bill Shorten is in, they actually might get in although Bill Shorten doesn't seem so good for himself.

1. Government expenditure leads to economic growth. That is one of the basic things you learn in economics.
2. Paying of a country's debt whilst the country still has a Triple A global credit rating is incredibly foolish. You're sacrificing economic growth just so you can keep popularity. Remember Australias debt is incredibly miniscule. Infustructure, industry, trade and local economy all suffer when a government is trying to get rid of debt like Abbott is doing.
3. The carbon tax was the safest way to put a safety net around our debt so we could still spend money on other areas. Gillard never said that she wouldn't introduce a carbon tax. She has repeated many times that she wouldn't introduce it IF THERE WAS AN ALTERNATIVE. Guess what there was no alternative. But Murdoch, Reinfart and Liberal have their hands around each others nutsack so every newspaper and media outlet made her out to be a liar and people like just lick that shit up.
Not much argument here.
Our debt isn't as bad as the US. But when studying economics, you would learn that paying off debts is a good idea. I guess if I were in government, I would find better alternatives to pay off the total sum of the debt so that the future generations won't have much to pay off.

Look paying off a debt whilst maintain a high gdp/c is a great thing. In fact that was Labors end game. Both parties wanted to pay it off. But the difference is Labor wanted to pay it off naturally by slowly reducing government expenditure year by year. Much better than Liberal's policy of sell everything off, make it easier for the coal industry to make mega bucks and watch the economy get gimped but thats ok as long as we do a couple of tax cuts here and there everyone will think we're doing a great job.
People just dont see that a countrues debt is not the same as a persons debt.
