I used a gradient for the bg until I did the clouds...what should I have done?

Text has always been an awkward thing for me.
Maybe I'll put a clipping mask on it and edit the post...

I changed the font and made it a bit smaller.
I think it seems a little less awkward now.
The bg seemed too dark for a clipping mask.
