Bronze- You spent any money on Nexon, therefore you fail
Silver- You spent 100 dollars on Nexon, therefore you fail even more
Gold- You spent 500 dollars on Nexon, therefore you have no life at this point
Platinum- You spent 1000 dollars on Nexon, kill yourself now

and about the level up, yes it has happened to me also but you don't actually get the full 4,500 gp. You get how much you are supposed to get when ur staff sergeant.
