If you aren't going to overclock why are you buying an aftermarket cooler?

If your running intel you could go stock(if your not x99 or the like). I found that the stock cooler is plenty good if your case has decent ventilation and you are not overclocking.

A stock cooler out of the box will do you just fine as it's designed to run with that CPU targeted clock speeds. Aftermarket coolers are for those people who wish to overclock their CPU speeds and even then not all people who overclock use liquid coolers as fan coolers do a great job also.

I don't OC and I have a aftermarket cooler?
@Wyo if you get an aftermarket air cooler then yeah it's fine but kinda overdoing it if you get a water cooler and not OC'ing unless it's constantly hot where you are.

If you are buying the cooler overclock your cpu If not theres no point of buying it

Nah, just buy a decent air cooler like cooler master 412s or be queit dark rock advanced c1 (my choice)
