I recommend using After effects or sony vegas.

Also No program is going to enhance your video quality. Whatever you record with/at will be the best it will look.

    Do you record at 1280 x 720?
    Don't use fraps or bandicam.
Youtube's video codec is shit for me and a lot of other people.

Youtube the best render settings for w/e you use and you'll find videos for it.

I use Adobe Premiere for Youtube. I record at 1080 but you could use the same settings for 720. There are options when you export the file for Youtube specifically, but you can customize them to suit. Youtube recommends a 8,000 bit rate for video, I would suggest playing around with a test file, something small to get the best bitrate. My computer isn't the greatest either so I had to turn off settings like motion blur and bloom for valve games. I'm not sure if vsync made much of a difference, I don't think so. Audio doesn't matter too much for size. You will notice a difference if you use 5.1 over stereo for sound quality. I would recommend 5.1 it sounds awesome. As far as I can remember I made this video at 8k bitrate. There is some noticeable pixelation at fullscreen, the smoke especially but overall its not too bad. Hope this helps.

Wow, tried shadowplay for the first time today. Amazing recording at 1080p of BFHardline , no frame drops. 6mins at 1.5gig size outputs as mp4. Cannot notice any quality loss. Epic.
