Hello
I'm a contributor of the ROTMG section
I have read the rules here :https://www.mpgh.net/forum/rules.php
And found this:
"Terms of Service:
Material from MPGH may not be copied or distributed, or republished, uploaded, posted, or transmitted in any way, without the prior written consent of it's author. "
That rule clearly says uploaders have to ask the author of the tool they upload if it's not theirs
This user: @059 uploaded my tool something i don't allow
https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=947851
Our minion @krazyshank know i'm the author of that tool, he have access to the git repo
The uploader: @059 uploaded and edited my tool, because it broke one of your rule:
"- No advertising or quoting an advertisement. (Permanent Ban)"
While we prepared an update to fix that, he still uploaded it without my consent
https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread...1#post10409207
I do understand that my tool was rule breaking, and i will accept the Perma ban if you decide to ban me
But i do not understand why you can't remove my tool from his release
What should i do ? should i release the update now that remove the ads from current release ? If i do that, will you remove my tool from his release ?
Also since my old release contains ads, that mean they should be deleted aswell ?
Thanks for taking your time to read my post
EDIT:
Here is the links of the older release that contains my tool, wich are rule breaking (contains ads)

The tool that contains ads is labeled 'stub.ldr', it's bundled with Orape wich inject my tool stub.ldr into the client

I didn't know the correct response to this, asked the MPGH staff skype chat and they said that, generally, releases are never deleted apon request - but asking arun or dave for a final answer would be best. I did just that and asked @arunforce because he was online at the time and he gave me the simple response that was not to delete the thread.
I referred IziLife here to create a dispute if he wanted to get further clarification on the issue, but unless @arunforce says otherwise, I feel the answer is set.
This is honestly a bad mess of rules, but the history of @IziLife and his rule breaking is what warranted the this response from the staff.
Izi, I don't deny that you helped the section immensely and have a reasonable point, but the outcome here makes sense to me.
Regarding the past releases, those will be deleted too. I had actually forgotten about them (I wasn't around at that time).
For some reason, previous RotMG section staff had left the release stay, knowing it had ads...
This was brought up by @059 a while ago (months ago, before I was a minion), and both @IziLife and @JustAnoobROTMG knew that it was not allowed.
To be honest, during the time i added the ads i wasn't aware of the rules, i had not read them
I thought it could be tolerated, but anyways it's still rule breaking, and it's not about that that i made this dispute, it's about the fact that someone uploaded my tool without my consent
As i said, i totally understand that ads are rule breaking, and i accept the perma ban
I was aware of this to be a rule break only last week, when @059 mentioned that: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread...1#post10409278
It might sound incredible, but we never got told that we were breaking MPGH rules, (from what i have read, i do not read everything here on the forum, i may have missed the discussion)
But it's a fact, release has been approved, so i thought it was tolered, simple

I'll remove it under the circumstance that you release the program without the ads, like you said you intended to do.
Here's why: I don't like people taking advantages of the rules, e.g. I'll follow the rules when it benefits me, break them when it's convenient, complain about others breaking them when it fits my needs.
You get the respect of the rules when you respect the rules.
I have read multiple indications you knew the ads were breaking the rules, and it seems very likely that such a obvious rule was knowingly violated. You already took advantage of the site and system, and this is your punishment. Further (newer) releases won't be allowed, but this one release will until you remove the ads and release it. Seems like a fair punishment for the crime.
