Combat Arms probelm.

Whenever I put Dave's new MPGH public hack in my folder, with the settings.ini CA doesn't even load. When I take them out CA loads just fine. I renamed Dave's hack to whateveriwant.dll Also, my compatibility mode is in 'Windows 2000'. No idea what the problem is. I completely uninstalled my firewall so I knew for sure that wasn't the problem. I'm just a little frustrated that the hacks won't work when I've done everything correctly, and when or if the hacks finally work they'll be patched. FML

Higher-ups? Sorry, this is MPGH kiddo, no such thing. There are Minions, MODS, GMODS, and Arun and Dave. Those are the only higher-ups there are.

To ShayneB; your hack will not work if you typed it as a .dll it must be in .asi form, and also you must not run it on Compatibility mode, it says so in the thread which Dave made. Do you have Vista or something else?

Edit: Sorry, I see you don't have Vista, what do you use?

I'm on Windows XP Home edition SP2, I'll see if that works, I'm pretty sure I've already tried it.


That doesn't work. CA doesn't even attempt to start up. And I have the hack named as, "whateveriwant.asi"

Do you have your anti-virus on? If so turn it off. Oh and have you tried restarting your computer? It worked for me, but that's because I had just re-downloaded CA for the 100th time.

Edit: Don't name it as whateveriwant.asi just name it whatever YOU want, that's what it means. Just name it something else.
