    A new computer?

Soon it'll be my BDay. I will get money and be eligible for a job. After a few months I'd have enough money for a new rig (around $900-$1100). I also have "credit" in a computer store in my village so I can get some free parts there. Anyway can anyone advice me some things like... I can't decide if I should take a GTX 960, 970 or 980 (I really want 900 series). Which one is worth the price the most? Also what CPU to get, a i3, i5, i7? I don't know! Also I know NOTHING about motherboards, which one is best to get? How many RAM should I get?
    A few notes:
    -I HATE AMD.
    -Don't recommend AMD.
    -Don't say AMD.
    -AMD is a curseword.
-I'm not planning to play heavy 4k ultra graphics shit.
    -I have a huge monitor. 1680x1050.

    Thanks already!

https://pcpart picker.com/p/NxQN7P get this and use a amazon refund service and it'll cost you like $150 if you use someone who does 5% rates.

I don't see how that helps me. I know how to build computers. I just have a lack of knowledge about PSUs and motherboards.

GTX 970 unless you want to spend 300 on a couple of fps (Nvidia version based I don't know about the other versions by other companys)
i5 I'd recommend 4690k or If you want to spend more i7 4790k (They're not the best so if you want the best get one of those expensive ass i7 5000 series CPU's)
Motherboard Asus z97 or if you have the money get an ASUS Maximus VII hero
Power supply If you go with the 970 The card itself needs 145W I'd go corsair CX600 (80 plus certified)

Only these parts would already be $960 dollars from our newegg

970 or 980 depending on how much credit you have and how much credit they cost at the store.

Well you just took the words out of my mouth. AMD is good for budget. But you can always just buy an I5 PC and get a decent GPU. I7 isn't required. unless you do alot of video work. an I5 is still decent for gaming.
