Quantity is directly proportional to work put in. It doesn't have anything to do with betting, but that's definitely a valid method (if you're smart about it).

If you want a particular item, you'll have to work for it. It can happen literally 24/7. If you spend an hour a day for a week (which would be difficult to accomplish - doesn't take that much time), you could end up with $10-$40, depending on investment and luck.
