The reason i'm not installing Windows 10 or 8.1

This is the reason i'm not installing Windows 10 until they give me a classic theme. Aero/DWM, it's pretty heavy on Windows 7 and it is on Windows 10 too, the GPU usage tanks when you stream or play games in Borderless Windowed Mode. And it can't be disabled on Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, just look at the numbers, more than a 10% difference in gpu usage.

They claim aero doesn't exist in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 but it clearly tanks fps just like it does in 7 only in 7 at least we can fucking disable it.

Let's look at the facts
Say you have a £1000 GPU and play in windowed or borderless mode, by default you hit a max of 2% on windows 7 with aero disabled, that's only £20 wasted.
Windows 10/8.1 windowed/borderless mode with aero/dwm that can't be disabled, it can hit anywhere from 15-20% gpu usage sometimes max, that's £200 of power wasted. With more windows open it tanks even harder. It clearly got removed (classic theme) because they earn money off upgrades, meh i'm sticking with 7 till they fix that shit, i wanna play fucking games not look at eyecandy it's a desktop not a strip club.

Classic mode doesn't tank on the GPU because it doesn't support hardware acceleration, and uses the CPU for rendering instead.

And your windowed mode and $1000 GPU example really isn't practical.
Honestly, how many people play in windowed mode, and how many people own $1000 GPUs?
