What was your favorite time of Maplestory?

Simple question, what was your favorite time of Maplestory. It could be getting your first friend, girl/boyfriend, etc.
My favorite time was before Big Bang patch came. Reason was that before that patch, game was so long, lots of grinding at monster carnival and it felt like a great achievement to reach mid levels (~100) With the new patch, leveling up became easy, I managed to get 6 characters level ~150 in about 3 days each character...

The hard grinding and leveling was what made maplestory much more enjoyable and rewarding for me

Damn right! I played since beta and damn I gotta tell you thinking about it now I loved it back at the start of MS!!!
4 Classes with 2 or 3 choices. Had to roll the dice to get good starting stats, doing the Kerning PQ, getting a clickbot for ludipq, doing all the quests you could to get a few items. Now levels go by way too fast.. I had to roam the FM for my level 5x equips as a warrior for a while. Speaking of the FM having hundreds of people tryna push their chat bubble to be seen hahaha... Nostalgia.

You still need NX or some sort in the game for mesos.

If your server is not populated, you still need nx to buy stores, sadly.

I've never bought a store in NX shop, I usually stand in FM and I managed to sell most of my items.

had the most fun right AFTER big bang, leveling actually wasn't that easy it was A LOT easier than pre big bang but a lot harder than it is now.
